Yes, there are a few areas where Cogitate could improve. Upgrading laptops with the latest resources would be a big help. Also, expanding employee benefits—like offering better health insurance, or professional development allowances would be valuable. Additionally, VPN and DEV server access is limited for developers, and making this more accessible would streamline our work.

1. Employee Benefits - Too less paid leaves and holidays. No dependents covered in company Mediclaim policy 2. Culture towards employees and work life balance 3. Excessive focus on cost control leads to overly restrictive policies, including limitations on team events and celebrations 4. While efficiency is important, excessive cost-cutting can impact employee morale. Investing in initiatives that show genuine care for employees can enhance satisfaction and loyalty. 5. Revisit some of the policies to make them at par or better than industry, such as - Leave policy, Mediclaim - Inclusion of additional dependents, Opportunities for Online/ Classroom learning or Certification etc. I feel some of these areas will help us to attract good talent from outside and also help in retention of existing resources.

1 - Exposure: Considering the current scale of organization, visibility of your efforts/contribution with higher management gets evident. 2- Accessibility - Leadership/Higher Management team is easily approachable

Dislikes

Attendance/Time booking policies needs to be revisited. Considering, we are into US IT solutions/service business, weekly average of 45 hrs(min 6 hours a day - If not, then marked as half-day) can to be considered instead of daily 9hrs. As few days an employee may have to extend which can be balanced with other days. This gives flexibility to employees that in-turn enhances work/life balance.

It has been a good career along with Cogitate and have seen a good technical, professional and financial growth for self. It is a very flat organization and very high on integrity values. At times, you feel you are pushed but at the same time, they ensure that they get you to realize your potential by giving you the required free hand and the resources required for achieving your goals.

Structured Learning and Development programs require more focus, since that will have a major impact in taking the organization and its team to the next level

Good place to learn and grow. Team HR and management support growth and fun. Evening snacks are provided by the company

Dislikes

The company policies are backward.. they have 12 leaves a year and max 18 leaves for only ppl.with 5 + experience. Working on weekends is a normal thing.
