Cipla is one of the most reputed and well-known brand in pharmaceutical industry. This company can give you fame and financial growth. They provide free food and transportation with many other employee benefits. But Skill development and training is not up to the mark. The management and culture is purely corporate based . Cipla is financially strong and secure company but the employee engagement and employee development is not up to the mark. They don't have uniforms for their employees. You will get alternative weekly off and transportation to all the posh area of bangalore. If you join this company with reference then this is the best place to work . If you are an outsider things may not that easy. Most of the employees are working here from a long time so getting accepted as an outsider is tough. Being a corporate pharma giant Cipla still not adapted continuous improvement techniques, there is no six sigma practice, Kaizen, Lean manufacturing programs or related trainings. I felt like company really need an upgradation in many areas but it still remain practicing typical work systems like 2000s. Cipla give more important to QA ,QC and cGMP documentation and upgrade the functions and technologies related to those departments & not giving importance to Other departments and their upgradation.
