Work life balance is satisfying working in CG

Dislikes

Hybrid work mode. My project team is not sit at one location. Everyone comes from different place so even our CG wants to attend office 3 days in a week. Considering traffic nearby office is difficult and hectic to travel.

For two things we the employee are working. One is growth and second is money. I could neither find growth nor money from the organisation. Whatever you have to do is self learn.

Dislikes

About promotions and hikes, basically I can say in few projects there are some politics going on, in a result juniors are suffering for no to get any promotion even after putting all the efforts.

Work life balance is best in Capgemini.. I never saw bossy culture here.. Managers are so supportive.. If you are good work your life will be better here…Different trainings are provided for cross skilling.

The only point is hike is negligible here although how much you work hard.

Basic work culture is good! Worked hard and got good ratings and promotion in 2 years of period.

Dislikes

No free food, Not even good tea, coffee. Hike is too low! Even with promotion, I got only 3 percentage. It's a heart breaking and if I asked it to HR team they are giving reason as not completing mandatory courses is a reason. Which is more painful to hear this silly reasons.

The client culture in my project

Dislikes

Value given to an employee has been reduced. No appraisals or appreciation for the work. No proper infrastructures provided to employees but have been asked to follow hybrid model. There's too many people and too little space.

Appraisals are pathetic. Salary provided is not industry standard either.

WHOLE MANAGEMENT IS SHIT... Portfolio Managers dont know anything, fool are those who assigned them responsibilities to choose candidates for projects. Because they themselves dont know any technical skill, they just know HOW TO USE EMPLOYEES, HOW TO SUCK THEIR BLOOD.. Supervisors dont know anything, they are GARBAGE, should be thrown out immediately from the company. Upper management knows only politics and how to drain energy of employees. 1-No recognition of productive work. 2-Everyone is different, last project was good good experience, this time it is horrible 3- Don't expect promotions &hikes at junior or mid level.

There is no micro management, we are free to work on the projects in our own pace , additionaly there are good clients and we have good work to do here

Dislikes

The promotion hikes would be in range of 5 to 6 persent and aimilar story for yearly appraisals. Even for top ratings we get around 5 percent hike. This is not good and dismal to know. They promise and forget 👏👏
