Only 5% chance of sponsored professional certifications. Indian Senior Managers clearly states -"I will not sponsor anything that doesn't directly benefit projects" (As if they are sponsoring from their pockets) Company works 98% on home made legacy applications that are mostly dos-based. No proper Project Mgmt tools used as a result employees even if gets self certified with current apps and tools, gets dull in no time from noon-usage. Pathetic salary growth. Work life balance is at its best. In BT there is no concept of promotion. Everything is skill based. To move to upper level one needs to clear skill test and interview. Same for IJP. Hence, skillset gets at most priority. The L&D is great in this company. They really focus on employee's skill development. Great company to work with.

If u can not negotiate properly Har might give you a base level salary.

I've been with BT for a while now, and I can confidentely say that it is a fantastiv place to work, One of the standout features of the company is the strong emphasis on job security The work life balance here is exceptional, BT encourages employees to maintain healthy balance beetween there professional and personal lives. THe hybrid model gives flexibility to work from home

While there are some positive aspect of working with BT, there are signifificant drawback that deserve attention, One of the major issue is the management style, which can ofter feel egoistic, If you happen to have supportive manager, your experice can be positive, but if you're assigned to a less empathetic supervisor, it can drastically affest your work life balance and overall job satisfaction. The lack of consistent appraisal system is another cocern. Despite hard work and dedication, many employees fin that their contributions go inrecoganized, leading to frustration. Additionally the resigntation process is frustrating, it feels like management is indifferent, as no one bothers to ask why employees are leaving, instead, resignation seem to be accepted with minimal interaction or feedback, which diminishes the opportunity for constructive change, and you'll ask yourself that XX years of loyalty you've given to organisation who does not even bother. Annual survey, such as "YourSay", give employees a platform to coice their opinions but it often feel like feedback is ignored. Many employe resign due to issues with their manager yet management rarely addresses these concern. Instead of retaining experienced employees, they seem to priortize replacing them, leading to higher training cost and a continued cycle of toxic leadership. In Summary, while BT has its merits, the challanges with management, lack of meaningful recognition and ineffective feedback mechanism hinder it from being a truly great place to work. Office Politics, lot of nonsense meetings, existing long timers behave as if they own a company. Leadership has no technical knowledge and show no empathy. They show empathy on only in writing e-mails. HR has no visibility in the team for any employee concerns.

I use to like it till they let me do the job without micro management ,the leadership became highly insecure with India taking and doing good work and they play politics at end

Highly political game at leadership level ,the UK folks are highly insecure if India does good ,they will go to any extent and move good guys out so no job security at senior level . They do not like Indians in mgmt level
