Benefit and company location but dont join under manager - Deepak Chopra Company timings are Flexible but my manager look at every one timing and login logout details every time. He is always 5 days in a week in the office might be because of his wife sits on his head but he expect everyone to be in the office.

Micromanagement by My direct manager - Deepak Chopra Too much favoritism and Lack of Professionalism - Deepak Chopra Deepak gets panic attacks every now and then that too unnecessarily. Suggestion from me - Even if you dont have any other option and this is the manager please sit at home but dont get in to his project if you love your peace of mind. If you get allocated to him by chance - just ask for project change - and be firm on your decision - he plays lot of politics and tries hard to manipulate. Old Technologies. Bad Appraisal systems dependent only on immediate manager, no open door policy, stressful work environment especially when close to releases in R&D, Constantly high and several times unrealistic expectations, bad feedback system (virtually none). Toxic managers (At least the ones whom I worked for), Internal politics (at least what I perceived). Rampant layoffs. Entire teams at times.

The company is very focused on quality and at the same time is focused on employee care. Working here has helped me grow technically and the team is constructive. The manager is very supportive, understands the problem, and tries to help as much as possible. All that matters here is Quality. You give your best and the company will treat you the best possible way you can.
