Work culture, manager ( a lot of people in manage roles are with BMC for long and they feel they are the owners) treat subordinates very bad. Managers don't have any empathy, are rude, hypercritical and captious. A lot of micro management and very toxic environment. company is good infrastructure provided by BMC help streamline work processes and allow employees to focus on delivering high quality results.

One challenge I experienced at BMC software was related to management policies and the decision-making process. In some instances, it felt like decision were primarily made by managers whith limited input from employees. This top-down approch sometimes led to lack of transparency and made it difficult for employees to feel valued orheard. additionally, there seemed to be minimal involvement from Hr in addressing employee concerns, which affected overall morale. Nothing great, just if you want a job without any stress and want to chill then go here. Otherwise there is nothing challenging or learning or growth. Just do the tasks boss gives you and then go away. And if you want to work in a fancy office.

- Managers will get promoted no matter how much you raise your voice to the HRs even in case of torture - The salaries aren't revised as per market rate - Even after being an old brand, the job safety has gone away comparatively since acquition by the KK bank - No great appraisals - There will be a process & template which you will have work on for years and years, where there will be really less scope to learn anything. While company is a leading employer with many strengths, addressing areas of improvement could enhance employee experince, by not mandating certain amount of work from office hours and flexible remote working, as its a market culture these days which does not effect individual work.

I have been working with BMC from past 2 years and I am truly impressed by the collaborative culture, approachable leadership who are receptive to feedbacks and unique benefits. The benefit package offerings like gym & sporting equipment, pet care, Go-green Initiatives are truly outstanding.

Teams are still resistant adopting new methods & processes which lead to insufficiencies and hinder innovation.

Overall BMC is good company but if you are in BMC SAAS department then you are in nuisance. Management think that just moving people here and there and firing them from JOB is their work and getting salary for it. New joiners are getting frustrated here within 3-4 months.
