Management has lost their mind since 6 months. - They close wfh policy for some of the employees and asked them to come daily to the office no matter if someone dies while traveling they dont care. While some favourite employees get permanent wfh cause some hr or delivery manager is their friend - They have hire some new oversmart HR. Who calls people daily and ask them where they are working from? Like a teacher ask students about their homework - from 6 months no one is discussing about code quality, deployment, new processes, productivity or anything. Everyone is focus on how many hours i have completed, how many leaves i have, why that person got wfh and we dont? How are we going to travel from andheri to ulhasnagar after 10 pm today. Cause we work in a UK shift Management has just ruined all the productivity. I used to work here for 12 hrs a day but now i have to worry about traveling daily, should i get a seat today or not cause all the space has been already occupied. Some people dont Even have their fix places to seat. They have to carry their monitor each day and wait for 15 20 mins till the oversmart HR finds a place for them. Whoever is on leave on that day that person has to seat their. This is the level at these people are operating. Layoffs are coming and everyone knows it. People are just waiting to drop the paper. "Blenheim Chalcot is the undesirable offspring of a modern exploitative company and the East India Company, merging today's greed with old-world exploitation" Here's a critical take on the Company: - They'll hire you with a title like "Junior Data Scientist" but then pile on task that have nothing to do with your actual job description. - Channeling the spirit of the old East India Company, a select few exploit their colleagues, and if you voice concerns to management about you work scope, their response is dismissive, suggesting you leave because this the only work they have. - They hire data science leads who are shockingly inexperienced and fundamentally clueless about requirement gathering and problem-solving. Yet, when a junior question their flawed ideas or points out their inadequacies, these leads erupt in a dramatic display of wounded pride and ego. - Complaints made through skip-level meetings achieve little, as the company is content to tolerate problematic managers/leads as long as their goals are met. Employee may even face threats of poor reviews if they try to switch portfolios, ai it could reflect poorly on the leads themselves. - HR is unlikely to offer genuine support: expect either empty promises or outright disregard. Many competent HR staff have been pushed out due to internal politics. - The company might pressure you into "voluntary resignation" under the pretense of performance issues.
