Worst work life balance day night just work them. Still people can say you all not doing anything. No tracking what people are doing as more ad hoc work to complete in 9 hrs of span and then complete your daily work. Strech more everyday.

Work Life Balance is very good in Avaya. Work culture is good as long as you are working with the right leaders. Work culture gets spoilt when managers from service based industries join and try to micro manage. Flexible working hours with work from home facility is good. Products you work on can be good but depends on the team.

Dislikes

Career growth is very slow. There can be a lot of difference between your on paper role and the role you actually play on the field. Learning curve goes in a downword direction. Salary increments are on an average side. Management hires people on much higher roles and much higher packages and makes them do the same thing as one on amuch lower level. The culture is good and the immediate managers of few teams are really good since they themselves have come up from being engineers. There is good work-life balance and there is scope to learn new skills.

Dislikes

There is no direction to where the company is going. There is no compassion and empathy towards the layoffs that have happened. The company has lost its way since being one of the premier call center solution providers. There is very little growth and there is no way to know if you are going to stay or go.

Tier 4 team in US are very supportive, knowledge sharing etc.

Lack of leader's who can take company to high standard. Full politics directors and mangers have good relationship with each other if you're good with your manager or director then you will get good hike and promotion. KPI performence will be ignored if you are close to manager/director. No encouragement for good resource who are ready to take challenges or already proved themself.

Sorry, there is nothing at the moment. When you cannot provide, appraisals and have to take loan to survive then when is good. Whose fault is that Senior Management, who don't know management.

Nothing, no appraisals, nothing has been done to boost morale, infact managers are putting more pressure to reduce cost as directed by Directors. Worst time of my life in Avaya. Not able to meet daily expenses even. Please do not join. They dont think about you. As you grow with years of hardwork, you will become a liability for them. Will get regular threats that we will throw you out.
