Had a nice experience working with ANZ. The work environment is good. I was in Payments Team. There’s no blame game. They work on latest technologies and provide trainings to upgrade self. There’s a job security because lot many ppl here who have 15+ or 20+ years of experience are retained here, creating a new position for them. Being a permanent employee of ANZ is a perk else they can fire contractors anytime. Work timings are Australian timings which are preferably good. You don’t need to work on weekends....Read More

Salary is a concern, you may get a better offer outside. I had a low ctc of 15lpa in ANZ in 6-7 years of experience but when I switched the company, I got 100% hike. Even internal hike is also not good. There is no on-site opportunity here.

ANZ is a wonderful place to work. like all companies, it does have some drawbacks but I assure you they are negligible. 1. Very professional 2. You will get your salary on time. yearly hikes, bonuses are awarded as well 3. wonderful work culture and they give opportunity to everyone. they support LGBTQ, Women empowerment, and a lot of social causes.

HRs should take Exit interviews more seriously. Some teams there have unprofessional people as their team managers. they should be interrogated.

Promoting bracket friends and families as manager without any recruitment process and job hoping between CBA, NAB and ANZ is common in Bengaluru and Delhi. If I am wrong, you can check any employee working at ANZ moved to CBA on LinkedIn for the same. I worked with ANZ for just 6 months in a newly launched project in KYC division in OCDD operations. The management system in that project was terrible. They are least bothered about employee concerns. The team manager had terrible communication skills. Most of the tenured ANZ folks out there are biased with filthy politics internally. Their relationship with the stakeholders in Australia is also terrible and they force that frustration on to employees without considering the employees’ opinions....Read More

Contractor and consultant are treated as permanent staff while permanent staff are treated like contractors sometimes. Many times it is contractor driven which permanent staff feels bad.

Good salary if u negotiate while joining, great work-life balance. Good timing 7 AM-4PM.You will definitely avoid peak traffic.

Absolutely love the culture at ANZ Bangalore. It is a large firm (atleast in BLR) and every person I have met has been really polite, helpful and technically strong.

The Worst decision of my life is working for this Messed up company. The management is absolute shit. The kind of internal politics and suppressions is at its extremes. My manager made my life so so so miserable. I was so close to being diagnosed with clinical depression. She marked me on my behaviour when I took emergency leave forGrandparent death. She messed up with my internal interviews. She promoted the juniors in the team to the roles that we seniors were waiting for. She ruined my career. She scolded me badly in front of new joiners and gave me bad reviews. The worst manager the company could ever have. She has literally put all our career at stake. Most of the managers are just plain dumb who don’t know mutual respect. They are so rude during interviews and make the candidate feel threatened and stupid. They mock candidates during the interview. Never thought this company would be this low is standard. Because of the lever of toxicity in this low profile company, I have now succeeded to destroy my own mental health. Worst place ever to work.
