This experience has been the worst, even my background in startups. There’s no real HR or accounting department. You only get paid if the CEO feels like it. If she decides to pay you, you have to ask her directly again n again. After a week or two, she might finally send some money your way, but it won’t be the full amount. she’ll promise to add the rest next month. The fact that you don’t receive your offer letter while you’re already working is a huge red flag. If you try to raise a valid concern, the CEO and COO will just end up blaming each other.
