I like working at ALAF in terms of career development and learning are very good on this, like electrical department is best department in Tanzania because whenever you go to other companies in electrical department you must find one from ALAF.

Dislikes

In ALAF are not good in salary appraisal or growth, they provide appraisal mainly basing on how close you are with the personnel providing aporaisal but not basing on performance, level of job or education. Also they dont have salary scale at all, mainly based on who let you in. If you interviewed with General manager you will get higher than who interviewed by HR manager and other managers.

Work Details

I was very exciting with my work because, my direct superior was very close to us as team. But the problem come on salary appraisal and increament at HR offices. Because operational managers at ALAF they don't have power for deciding increaments.

Toxic Work Environment

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. HR couldn’t help, and the stress is affecting my mental health. Should I stay or resign? Will leaving early harm my career? If I stay, how can I manage this .without losing my peace?
