Instead, work hours extend to 12 AM, 1 AM, 2 AM, and even later. Additionally, if an employee arrives even 30 minutes late, the company deducts a full day's leave (LOP). There are also instances of office politics. For example, the company head may inform employees in the evening that they can leave promptly at 8 PM. However, he privately instructs the manager to monitor employees' status and encourages them to stay longer. Consequently, the manager approaches employees at the time of departure, discusses their plans, and persuades them to extend their work hours by an additional 3 to 4 hours. 2. **Career Opportunities**: In this company, they are reluctant to give increments to employees, even those who work late nights for up to 12 hours a day. Moreover, working overnight is considered just a matter of time by the company management.
