Hello,

I have been working in a paint company for the last 2 years but am not satisfied with the work profile and responsibilities. 

I'm planning for a career switch in the next 1 year to finance with zero financial knowledge and background. I heard it is high paying and job security is good.

Can anyone please suggest the paths to me. 

I just have an idea how to go for it. I'm sharing here. Since I am 26, I don't wanna take any risk, atleast any calculated risk further.

I was getting 15.2 LPA in my previous org and now i am being offered 29.5 LPA but the designation is 1 position lower than what i was in my previous  org. Should i go ahead with the offer or still negotiate on designation.

Sure, you have people around, flatmates, coworkers, friends....and family is just a call away. But still, it can get incredibly quiet, and sometimes the noise inside your head becomes overwhelming.

P.S. I live with family now, so there's always some drama going on....But I’ve lived alone before, so I know what it feels like.

Hello,
6 months ago, I switched from my previous job to my current one with a 40% salary hike. At that time, it seemed like a great opportunity, but now, I am seriously considering my decision.
My previous job had,
1. A European MNC team with excellent support and work culture
2. Good Time for my family & personal life
3. Flexible timing & permanent work-from-home
4. 5 days working with proper work-life balance

Now, in my current Indian company:
1. 12-hour workdays, with additional work on Saturdays (despite a 5-day work policy)
2. No proper training
3. Toxic work culture, where I get scolded daily due to a lack of training
4. Hardly any time for my kids and parents
5. Started my health issues

My previous company is willing to take me back with a 10% hike on my last salary. Given the work-life balance, supportive environment, and long-term growth prospects I had there, I am thinking of returning.
*It is not going to impact on my monthly expenses.*
Would you recommend going back?
