Query Regarding Coding Rounds for React/Next.js Roles in Bengaluru
I have 7 years of experience as a Web Developer, including the past 2 years specializing in React and Next.js development. Currently, I am earning a CTC of 9 LPA, and I am planning to relocate to Bengaluru next month.
I am reaching out to inquire about the hiring processes for React/Next.js roles in Bengaluru-based companies, particularly at TCS or similar organizations. Specifically, I’d like to know if there are coding rounds for candidates with 2 years of React/Next.js experience. If coding rounds are part of the process, could you please provide some insights into the type of questions or topics I should prepare for?
Your guidance would be immensely helpful as I plan my next steps.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance! 🙏

Keep practicing! – Even if you’re experienced, brushing up on concepts you might not have worked with recently is always a good idea. Make sure you're comfortable with advanced JavaScript concepts and React/Next.js features.

Don't forget about system design see – If you’re applying for senior roles, system design rounds could be part of the process. You may be asked to design scalable and efficient architectures using React, Next.js, and related tools.

Great post....I’m also exploring opportunities in Bengaluru, and the coding rounds for React/Next.js have me curious! Do you think it’s better to focus more on algorithms or deep dive into React-specific challenges?

Nice...I’ve heard that TCS has pretty extensive coding rounds. How do you usually prepare for these rounds? Any tips for React-related challenges?

Ah, the Bengaluru coding rounds, always a fun challenge, right? What do you think is the most challenging part of coding interviews for React/Next.js roles?

Bhai, TCS is definitely known for its solid interview process! Do you plan to practice with LeetCode or focus more on React/Next.js-specific problems?

I’ve been thinking about the same. Do they focus on performance optimization in React, or is it more about building full-fledged projects?

I’ve been working on a Next.js project recently. Have you come across any tricky issues in Next.js while working on interviews?
