Hey there! I'm a final-year integrated-law student at a Tier 2 NLU, considering whether to stick with law or switch gears to pursue an MBA. Despite seeing myself more as a corporate type, the fierce competition in Tier 1 law firms and limited job opportunities have me at a crossroads. I aspire to work as a counsel in a company, but the low pay is a concern, particularly given my middle-class background and family's inclination towards government jobs. I've been pondering the benefits of prior work experience (PYE) for MBA admissions and wonder which MBA specialization suits a legal background best. While risk analysis seems promising, I'm open to other suggestions. Alternatively, I'm contemplating staying in law and pursuing an LLM. Ultimately, my aim is to secure a lucrative salary in the future, enabling me to travel the world while working. Any advice on this dilemma would be immensely valued!
