Need guidance to switch career.

I have been working in this company from last 7 year with more or less same position or job role. I have been working as a application support engineer. Now I think this role will not much help in my career growth (SALARY), so I have been thinking from many months but not able to start learning new skills. kindly help so I can decide which skills I need to learn so I can use this experience also to crack a good job or I can use this experience only...
