20% Less Salary, 20% Better Life? 🤔
I've been thinking a lot lately about the age-old question: Is a higher salary always the better choice?
I've heard this advice: Choose a better life, not a better salary. The money will follow.
Have you ever been in a situation where you had to choose between a higher-paying job with a less-than-ideal work environment and a lower-paying job with a better culture and supportive team?
I personally believe that a positive work culture and a good manager can significantly impact job satisfaction and overall well-being. But let's face it, we all need to pay the bills!
What do you think?

Does HR mentions that we are giving you 20% less salary but you will get 20% btter manager? If manager is 20% worse than does employee get 20% extra money? The concept is good but you won't know unless you join and spend sometime in the company ...

20% salary you can verify on paper, you can't verify if the manager is gonna turn out to be good.

Agree with all of them
Less salary better city is the toughest to pick, because better city definition is very flexible once you see better salary you jump to it

Have been on both sides of the question. More money is always beneficial. Even if you are very much satisfied at your job, the feeling of being underpaid will kick in at some point in time when you will get to know the market rate of the same job you are into.
Also, a very good increment on lower base (which is very rare to get every year) is not better then average increment on higher base.
