NASA, USAID Launch SERVIR Central American Hub

AC Health to import HIV medicines
- Ayala Healthcare Holdings, Inc. (AC Health) will import HIV medicines and technologies through its subsidiaries IE Medica and MedEthix to be sold at Generika Drugstore pharmacies.
- AC Health has partnered with USAID to expand HIV care and prevention services in the Philippines, including onboarding health service providers on the KonsultaMD telemedicine platform.
- USAID will support community engagement, provide technical assistance, and introduce private sector models for HIV service delivery, along with training healthcare providers and coordinating with partners to provide free HIV self-testing kits.
- The Department of Health projects that the number of HIV cases in the Philippines will reach 215,400 by the end of 2024, prompting calls for collective action to combat the rising cases.

Bicol gets P7.6-M educational aid
- The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) donated over P7.6 million worth of learning materials to the Department of Education (DepEd).
- The package included 18,600 learner kits and 8,884 early-grade reading materials for students in kindergarten through grade three.
- USAID also donated 528 teacher kits to support teaching staff across 54 affected schools in the Bicol Region.
