What will you be doing?
- Take full ownership of team member documentation, including contracts, amendments, and other lifecycle-related documents.
- Oversee end-to-end payroll operations, including inputs, reconciliation, and processing of monthly payroll for a growing and dynamic team.
- Manage the ESOP portal, ensuring accurate addition and deletion of team members, and handle all ESOP-related documentation, such as grant letters and updates.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and central employment laws, proactively keeping the organization up-to-date and aligned.
- Stay informed about industry standards related to salary structures, deductions, perks, and appraisals to ensure competitiveness.
- Build and maintain detailed, accurate reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to the leadership team.
- Influence and implement best practices in payroll, compliance, and ESOP processes, contributing to strategic initiatives that align with the company's goals.
- Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and maintain a seamless employee experience.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to share critical insights and stay aligned on organizational priorities.
- Ensure a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for new joiners from a payroll and compliance perspective.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) around payroll, compliance, and ESOP management, ensuring seamless integration into the organization.
- Handle the preparation, validation, and rollout of offer letters, appointment letters, salary annexures, and other related documents.
- Promote and sustain a positive, people-first culture across the organization.
What should you have?
- Experience: 4-6 years in payroll and compliance roles, with a strong focus on Indian regulations and ESOP management.
- Expertise in Payroll: Proven track record in handling payroll inputs, reconciliation, and processing for medium to large teams.
- ESOP Knowledge: Experience in managing ESOP portals and handling associated documentation like grant letters, team member onboarding/offboarding, and portal updates.
- Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail and data-oriented mindset with strong follow-through.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive solutions with measurable impact.
- Initiative: Demonstrated ability to own challenges, drive continuous improvement, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Tech Savvy: Hands-on experience with payroll systems, especially Keka HRMS, is mandatory.
- Passion for Growth: Enthusiasm for scaling operations and improving processes in high-growth environments.
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate decision-making and influence stakeholders.
