Product Engineering Director - Salesforce Platform (14-19 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage geographically dispersed engineering teams, ensuring high performance and timely delivery.

- Drive end-to-end product engineering for Salesforce-based SaaS products, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

- Design and implement AI/ML solutions as core differentiators in software products and solutions.

- Define and oversee software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring adherence to best practices in CI/CD, QA automation, and DevOps.

- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Business teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives.

- Architect robust, scalable, and secure enterprise software solutions leveraging Salesforce Apex and Lightning frameworks.

- Manage cost-effective delivery, making trade-offs where necessary, while optimizing resource allocation.

- Lead stakeholder relationship management, driving cross-functional collaboration across global teams.

- Establish and maintain a high-performance culture by mentoring, coaching, and developing engineers.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software development, cloud security, and data privacy.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

- 15+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise software product development.

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning, SOQL, and integrations.

- Strong expertise in SaaS product development, with direct contributions to design and architecture.

- Experience in ISV/OEM solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem is a strong plus.

- Proven experience in managing global engineering teams across multiple locations.

- Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application in product development.

- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, QA automation, and DevOps practices.

- Demonstrated experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC), stakeholder management, and business strategy alignment.

- Strong cross-cultural awareness and excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Ability to manage project budgets and optimize cost-effective delivery.

- Experience in working across time zones and global stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration.
