Civil Engineer

Job Summary: Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer with 10-15 years of experience in detailed design engineering within the fertilizer and chemical, Petro chemical, or Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and managing civil and structural engineering projects while ensuring technical excellence and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Detailed Design and Engineering:

• Develop detailed civil and structural designs, including foundations, steel structures, roads, and drainage systems.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Conduct structural analysis using industry-standard software.
• Ensure designs comply with international codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE, IS codes).

2. Project Management:

• Lead civil engineering aspects of multidisciplinary projects from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with project managers, process engineers, and construction teams.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets while considering industry-specific challenges such as corrosion control and hazardous area classifications.

3. Technical Documentation:

• Review and approve design documents, including drawings, material take-offs, and technical reports.
• Prepare design basis reports, calculation summaries, and method statements.
• . Site and Construction Support:
• Provide technical support during construction, addressing design changes and resolving on-site issues.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure design implementation aligns with project requirements.
• Ensure familiarity with site-specific issues such as chemical spillage control and containment structures.

5. Quality and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards. • Conduct design reviews and participate in project audits. Qualifications and Skills: Education:
• Bachelors or masters degree in civil engineering or Structural Engineering. Experience:
• 10-15 years of detailed design engineering experience in the fertilizer and chemical industry.

Software Proficiency:

• AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Tekla, Revit, Civil 3D, and other relevant design tools. Knowledge

• Strong understanding of engineering codes and standards (ACI, AISC, IS, BS).
