Civil Engineer

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated Civil Design Engineer with 2-8 years of experience in detailed design engineering for the Oil & Gas, fertilizer and chemical industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and development of civil and structural components in compliance with relevant codes and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed civil and structural designs, including foundation layouts, steel structures, and concrete components.

• Develop construction drawings, including general arrangements (GA), sections, and reinforcement details.

• Perform structural analysis and calculations using relevant software.

• Ensure designs comply with industry codes and standards such as IS, ACI, and BS codes.

• Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) and bills of materials (BOMs).

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including piping, mechanical, and electrical engineers. • Review vendor drawings and ensure design consistency and accuracy.

• Support construction teams during the execution phase with technical guidance.

• Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on design progress.

Qualifications and Skills: • Education: Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field.

• Experience: 2-8 years in detailed design engineering in the Oil & Gas, fertilizer and chemical industry.

• Software Proficiency: STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, and other relevant design tools.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with design codes such as IS, ACI, BS, and Eurocodes.

• Skills: Strong technical drawing skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
