Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented IT Business Development Lead with 4+ years of experience in the staff augmentation industry.
- You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing deals with clients seeking highly skilled IT professionals in Data Science, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence.
- This role requires a strong understanding of the IT landscape, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Proactively identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including networking, online research, and industry events.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that showcase Zorba AI's value proposition.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (recruiting, delivery) to ensure seamless client onboarding and project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system (Salesforce, HubSpot).
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers (CTOs, CIOs, Hiring Managers) at target client organizations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and expertise on talent solutions.
- Proactively address client concerns and ensure client satisfaction.
- Develop long-term partnerships with clients to foster repeat business.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the Data Science, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence domains.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and target markets.
- Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure achievement of targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/ master's degree.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT business development, specifically in staff augmentation.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships.
- Deep understanding of the IT industry and the demand for Data Science, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence professionals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and driven to succeed.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling staff augmentation services for remote teams.
- Knowledge of various recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
- Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools.
