Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Marketing and Sales Development: Develop detailed Marketing in response to customer RFQs (Requests for Quotation), ensuring alignment with client requirements, technical specifications, and company capabilities.
  • The position will be responsible for assuming leadership of the entire sales and marketing organization in their Industrial Automation Business.
  • The position will lead a team of sales and marketing professionals to work closely with the Manufacturing clients to solution for robotic and automation technologies.
  • Heading the entire sales and business development for the organization
  • Leading, motivating and driving the entire BD and Sales Team to reach monthly and annual targets
  • Delivering YOY revenue growth for the organization
  • Strategies and implement long term and short-term plans for organizations growth
  • Technical Understanding: Possess a deep understanding of the company's products/services, engineering principles, and industry standards to effectively communicate technical solutions to clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams, project teams, Design engineers, and other vendors to gather necessary information and insights for marketing development
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates by analyzing project requirements, material costs, labour costs, and other relevant factors.
  • Marketing and Sales Customization: Tailor marketing and sales to address specific client needs and showcase the unique value proposition of the company's products/services.
  • Tendering: Prepare Costing and documents based on tender specification and submit in the tender portal
  • Documentation: Maintain organized records of marketing and sales documents, including versions, revisions, and related correspondence.
  • Deadline Management: Manage multiple marketing and sales deadlines simultaneously, ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in marketing and sales development, including the development of templates, tools, and best practices.
  • Promoting the company's existing brands and introducing new products to the market.
  • Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certifications in industrial automation, business, or sales/marketing is a plus.
  • 10-15 years of experience in marketing and sales in automation, with at least 5 years in a leadership or strategic role.
  • Excellent command on English language, especially rules of syntax, punctuation, and grammar.
  • Readiness for minimum 3 years of commitment.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and expanding market share in B2B environments, particularly in industries like manufacturing, robotics, energy, and automation.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation solutions, software platforms, and IoT (Internet of Things) applications in industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial automation technologies, including PLCs, SCADA systems, IoT, robotics, sensors, and control systems.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical solutions and translate them into compelling sales propositions for non-technical buyers.
  • Proficiency in English is required. Additional languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) are a plus, especially for global market engagement.
  • Knowledge in Proposal (Industrial Automation).
  • Proven experience in Marketing, Sales and Proposal preferably in an engineering or technical sales environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Expertise required in the field of Industrial Management, production and operations
  • Extensive experience in team Handling
  • Experience of handling a revenue of Rs. 200-300 Cr/Annum

Competencies

  • Deep understanding of the industrial automation sector, including key players, trends, technologies, and customer challenges.
  • Skilled in prospecting, negotiating, and managing high-stakes deals with a focus on long-term customer relationships.
  • Significant experience in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns over various mediums.
  • Strong analytical and interpretational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create high-quality content, proposals, and presentations.
  • Strong understanding of major social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn).
  • Skilled in identifying customer pain points and providing customized automation solutions.
  • Proficient in managing negotiations, handling objections, and closing high-value sales in complex environments.
  • High proficiency in graphic design software.
  • High proficiency in online marketing tools.
