Job Description

- Sales and Marketing of Industrial Automation and Drive Systems, Spares, and Services.

Responsibilities:


- Meet annual sales, turnover, and collection targets with committed profitability.

Requirements:

- Experience: 6-8 years.

- Education: Graduate/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation).

Skills Technical:

- Understanding of PLC, AC Drives, DC Drives.

- Ability to understand customer requirements, make automation architectures, select components, and handle costing.

Soft Skills:

- Good communication skills, both spoken and written.

- Good health and a confident approach.

- Justification for Recruitment.

- Increase focus on mid-level clients (potential-wise).

- Improve market reach and visibility.

- Address growing potential in steel, automotive, pharma, and material handling sectors.

- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales and Marketing Manager to drive the sales and marketing of our Industrial Automation and Drive Systems, Spares, and Services. You will be responsible for achieving annual sales targets, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and expanding our market presence.


- This role requires a strong technical understanding of industrial automation, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of sales success.


- Responsibilities: Sales Target Achievement: Meet annual sales, turnover, and collection targets with committed profitability. Customer Understanding: Thoroughly understand commercial terms and customer requirements to provide tailored solutions.


- Solution Development: Develop automation architectures, select appropriate components, and handle costing for customer proposals. Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans and budgets for the assigned territory/market segment.


- Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels, including networking, industry events, online marketing, and referrals. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers. Sales Execution: Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead qualification and opportunity identification to negotiation and closing deals. Order Management & Fulfillment: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery.


- Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activities and gather market intelligence to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies.


- Marketing Activities: Contribute to marketing efforts by identifying target markets, developing marketing materials, and participating in promotional events. Reporting: Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape.


- Requirements: Education: Graduate/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation).


- Experience: 6-8 years of experience in sales and marketing of industrial automation products and services. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), AC Drives, and DC Drives.


- Ability to understand customer requirements, develop automation architectures, select components, and handle costing. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written. Strong negotiation and presentation skills. Good health and a confident approach.


- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proactive and results-oriented approach. Justification for Recruitment: Increase focus on mid-level clients (potential-wise).
