Senior Accounts Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Lead role in the finalization of the Profit and Loss Account (P&L) and Balance Sheets, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Handle audit requirements by supporting internal and external auditors and ensuring all audit tasks are completed.
• Support in meeting tax audit requirements, including document preparation and data verification.
• Verify purchase and expense processes, ensuring accurate expense management and vendor payments.
• Conduct regular ledger scrutiny to ensure correctness and completeness of financial entries.
• Prepare vendor ageing reports and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Prepare and review data for GST returns and ensure compliance with GST regulations.
• Prepare data for TDS and TCS returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Set up and manage the chart of accounts in the accounting system.
• Support in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives, ensuring that budgets are adhered to.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, procedures, and policies to maintain financial integrity.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in commerce (B. Com) or Accounting / Finance-related fields.
• Professional certification (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter or Final) is a plus.
• Minimum 5 Years of experience in accounting, finance, or related fields.
• Excellent command on English language, especially rules of syntax, punctuation, and grammar.
• Readiness for minimum 3 years of commitment.
• Experience with software Like Tally, ERP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word & Outlook.
