Sourcing Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Person in Sourcing Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling new inquiry, procurement, vendor communication, purchase order management, and follow-up for material delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Role & responsibilities:

• Inquiry, Quote compilation and procure materials, goods, and services from vendors in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiate prices and terms, and resolve any issues or concerns.
• Create, manage, and track purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, resolve any delivery issues, and negotiate with vendors to meet company requirements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that materials are received, inspected, and stored in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist in the development and management of contracts with vendors, ensuring that all terms and conditions are met.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency in the procurement process.
• Ensure that all procurement activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular reports on procurement activities, vendor performance, and material delivery status.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve the procurement process and vendor management.

Preferred candidate profile:

• 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent command on English language, especially rules of syntax, punctuation, and grammar.
• Readiness for minimum 3 years of commitment.
• Ability to work effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word & Outlook.
• Experience with software Like Tally, ERP.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
