- Monitoring periodic end-of-billing cycle allocation transactions
- Reviewing monthly statement cycles, database reports and invoices
- Utilising multiple databases to maintain accurate records
- Assessing department requisitions to ensure compliance with company policies
- Interpreting purchase-related policies and procedures to company employees
- Evaluating the company's proposed purchase to maintain customer service continuity
- Examining reports, bid renewals and vendor compliance documents
- Performing arithmetic calculations, such as applying discounts and varying tax rates
- Identifying requirements and preparing specifications for existing and new contracts
- Assessing market dynamics and negotiating contract changes
- Understanding requirements and concerns of stakeholders to promote the company's commitment
- Making recommendations for the continuation or termination of existing contracts
- Developing an accurate and easy-to-use user guide for each contract
- Identifying potential vendors and preparing bids and proposals
- Consulting with other experts to develop comprehensive procurement documents
- Analysing vendor performance and market trends and comparing to benchmarks
