Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to manage vendor follow-ups, co-ordinate job work processes, and ensure smooth material procurement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, handling vendor communications, coordinating with production and maintenance teams, and ensuring proper documentation for job work.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Management & Follow-ups:

• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Follow up on material deliveries and ensure timely procurement.
• Address vendor queries and resolve supply chain issues.

Job Work Coordination:

• Arrange for raw materials to be sent to external vendors for job work.
• Monitor the progress of outsourced job work and ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Prepare and manage job work-related documentation, including purchase orders, work orders, and invoices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Production & Maintenance Coordination:

• Work closely with the production team to align procurement with manufacturing schedules.
• Coordinate with the maintenance department to procure necessary materials for equipment upkeep.
• Ensure materials and spare parts are available to avoid downtime.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain roles.
• Strong knowledge of raw materials, job work processes, and production requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
