Job Description

Role & responsibilities


  • Responsible for handling Sales of Cables, Accessories and Solutions for Project / End user, Consultants / Contractors from Industrial Projects (Textiles, Automobiles, Cements, Steel, F&B, Pharma) for South Region
  • Responsible for the Sales of Instrumentation and Electrical cables for Industrial Projects in assigned market to ensure that annual personal and department sales volume are achieved in terms of bookings, billings, operating profit, etc.
  • Handling consultants, client, and EPC/MEP contractors in assigned market; Specification & prescription in RFQ document
  • Create account plans, Create MIS of all the projects of Identified Key Accounts with their execution Plan.
  • Update regularly Sales Force online portal for Customer Visits Plan, New Opportunities, Order Booking Forecasts and New Account Creation.
  • Develop & maintain relationships with potential customers accounts across the assigned market by monitoring sales and negotiating orders to maximize revenue in accordance with predefined targets
  • Seek out competitor information, maintain knowledge of new developments in the marketplace and communicate information to Sales Manager.
  • Responsible for coordination with internal stakeholders for effective Solution Design, product availability, smooth logistics, accounts receivables etc to ensure both internal and external customer requirements are met.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the companys products and energy offerings and methodologies
  • Monitoring the timelines for submission of Tenders, Technical queries, commercial queries in coordination with concerned people
  • Conduct Technical Seminar for Customers, Consultants, Contractors.

Qualification & Experience :


  • B.Tech / B.E. (Electrical / ECE/Mechnical) with experience in Industrial selling of Electrical cables, Instrumentation products, Switchgears, preferably Project/ End user Segments.
  • Min 6-12 years of relevant experience in Projects /End user Sale
  • Good knowledge of Cables or related electrical products must
  • Good presentation skills, analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, must have an ability to work well in a teamwork environment.
  • Should have Ability to perform in professional attitude and work well under pressure
  • Willingness to work and adapt to a fast growing & changing environment
  • Proficient on MS Excel and SFDC tools for daily/Monthly Reporting
