Head - Plant Operations - Mining (15-23 yrs)

We are looking for Plant Operations Head for a leading mining & metals company based at Udaipur.

JOB DETAILS:

Location : Udaipur

Education : Engineering Graduate/Post Graduate

CTC : As per Industry Standard

Working Conditions : Regular, 5 days working( Alt Sat working)

ROLE DEFINITION:

1. Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, and /or distribution of products.

2. Looking after the operations of Udaipur plant, Lokapur plant &Bhuj Plant.

3. Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.

4. Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports.

5. Looking after all the audits and introducing the Ecovades and Pharma certifications.

6. Establish and implements departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures.

7. Monitor plant efficiency and do the efficiency controlling.

8. Modernizing all the existing plants.

9. Responsible for all department managers and supervisors, with review/approval responsibility for all operations employees.

10. Run a safe, injury/accident-free workplace.

11. Ensure proper cleaning, adoption of various methods like 5s, hygiene in premises.

12. Local liaison with government officials whenever required.

13. Coordinate with all service department (Project, maintenance) for new modification and improvements.

14. Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints

15. Ensure the overall delivery and quality of the unit offerings to customers and introduce the new quality systems as required.

16. Oversee activities directly related to making products or providing services.

17. Direct and coordinate organization, financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.

18. Manage the movement of goods into and out of production facilities.

19. Locate, select, and procure Raw Material and Spares to use and representing management in purchase negotiations.

20. Perform sales floor work such as greeting and assisting customers, stocking shelves, and taking inventory.

21. Plan and direct activities such as sales promotions, coordinating with other department heads as required.

22. Recommend locations for new facilities or oversee the remodeling of current facilities.

23. Plan store layouts, and design displays.

24. Verify raw material, packing and general consumption requirements with store personnel as per production planning.

25. Ensure all spares availability for machines by checking with maintenance personnel.
