National Sales Head - Bathware Products
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Manage and lead the national sales team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, industry influencers, and strategic partners.
- Conduct market research to identify new market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Develop and implement plans to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
Customer Insights and Market Trends:
- Understand and anticipate customer needs and preferences, ensuring the product range aligns with market demands.
- Analyze competitor products and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and insights for new product development and enhancements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to keep the company at the forefront of the market.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales department.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Encourage innovation and continuous improvement in sales processes and strategies.
Sales Operations and Reporting:
- Oversee the development and implementation of effective sales processes and tools.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, forecasts, and results.
- Manage the sales budget and optimize resource allocation to maximize ROI.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing
Experience:
- Minimum of 25 years of experience in sales management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the bathware industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the bathware industry.
