Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Email Marketing Specialist with a strong focus on copywriting for e-commerce to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop and implement email campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and customer retention. You will create persuasive, engaging, and customer-centric content tailored for e-commerce audiences. Collaborating with marketing, design, and product teams, you will ensure our email strategies align with overall business goals and brand identity.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Email Campaign Strategy: Develop and execute effective email marketing campaigns to support e-commerce objectives, such as promotions, cart recovery, and product launches.

Content Creation: Write compelling and conversion-focused email copy that aligns with the brand's tone and resonates with the target audience.

Performance Optimization: Conduct A/B testing of subject lines, CTAs, and layouts to optimize email performance.

Analytics and Reporting: Track key email metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, and provide actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness.

Audience Segmentation: Use data to create highly targeted and personalized email campaigns for segmented customer groups.

Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with email marketing laws, such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM, while staying updated on industry trends and best practices.

Collaborative Coordination: Work closely with design and marketing teams to create visually appealing and effective email templates.

E-Commerce Integration: Develop email campaigns that seamlessly integrate with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e. g. , Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or HubSpot).

Strong copywriting skills with a proven track record in e-commerce.

Experience in creating and optimizing email templates using HTML and CSS.

Familiarity with A/B testing tools and analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics.

Ability to analyze data to inform and refine campaign strategies.

Knowledge of customer segmentation techniques and lifecycle email marketing.

Understanding of email deliverability best practices and tools for monitoring (e. g. , Litmus).

Qualification & Experience Required

Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in email marketing and/or copywriting, preferably in an e-commerce environment.

A strong portfolio demonstrating successful email marketing campaigns and e-commerce content.

Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.

Excellent organizational and project management skills.
