Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic E-Commerce Trainer specializing in platforms and tools to join our team. The ideal candidate will design and deliver comprehensive training programs to enhance the e-commerce capabilities of individuals and teams. This role requires a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, analytics tools, and industry best practices. The trainer will collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs, develop content, and drive performance improvements across e-commerce operations.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and impactful training sessions on e-commerce platforms (e. g. , Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and tools (e. g. , Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot).

Content Development: Create detailed training materials, including manuals, presentations, guides, and video tutorials tailored to various audience levels.

Needs Assessment: Collaborate with business leaders and HR to assess training requirements and customize programs accordingly.

Performance Monitoring: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and KPIs, and refine content for continuous improvement.

Hands-on Training: Provide live demonstrations, simulations, and hands-on activities to enhance practical understanding.

Industry Updates: Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and updates in the e-commerce domain and integrate them into training programs.

Support: Serve as a resource for employees to troubleshoot issues and answer questions about e-commerce platforms and tools.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

E-Commerce Platforms: Advanced knowledge of Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or equivalent platforms.

Analytics Tools: Expertise in using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Hotjar for performance tracking and optimization.

Digital Marketing Integration: Familiarity with advertising platforms (e. g. , Google Ads, Meta Ads) and CRM tools.

Training Delivery: Strong background in adult learning principles, instructional design, and delivering both online and in-person training.

Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an ability to simplify complex concepts.

Project Management: Skilled in planning, organizing, and executing training programs within deadlines.

Qualification & Experience Required

Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, E-Commerce, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced certifications in e-commerce or training are a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in e-commerce operations, platforms, or tools.
At least 2 years of experience in a training or instructional role, preferably in e-commerce or digital marketing.

Certifications:

Certifications in e-commerce platforms like Shopify Partner Academy or Magento Certified Professional.
Training or instructional design certifications (e. g. , Train the Trainer, ATD).
