Job Description

Job Summary

The E-Commerce Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our online retail platforms, ensuring seamless integration of processes, exceptional customer experiences, and achievement of business goals. This role is pivotal in optimizing operations, streamlining supply chain workflows, and driving continuous improvements to increase revenue and profitability.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytically driven, and possesses a deep understanding of e-commerce technologies and logistics, combined with strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams effectively.

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • E-Commerce Platform Management : Manage end-to-end operations of online storefronts, including inventory management, order processing, shipping, and customer support.
  • Performance Optimization : Develop and implement strategies to improve website functionality, user experience, and conversion rates. Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize campaigns for traffic and sales growth.
  • Supply Chain Coordination : Work closely with logistics partners and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy. Monitor shipping costs and delivery times to enhance efficiency.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting : Analyze sales data, website metrics, and customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities. Generate regular reports to assess performance against KPIs and propose actionable insights.
  • Process Improvement : Identify gaps in operational workflows and introduce technology or process enhancements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Vendor and Partner Relations : Maintain strong relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and technology partners to ensure seamless integration and support for the e-commerce ecosystem.
  • Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, data privacy standards, and security protocols related to e-commerce operations.
  • Team Leadership : Lead and mentor the e-commerce operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Proven experience in managing e-commerce platforms (e. g. , Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and familiarity with CMS tools.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools (e. g. , Google Analytics, Tableau, or Power BI) to evaluate performance metrics and customer insights.
  • Experience with automation tools for operations, inventory management, and customer support.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, digital marketing strategies, and CRM tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle budgets, forecast sales, and manage operational costs.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
    • Qualification & Experience Required
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or retail management.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in e-commerce or project management (e. g. , PMP, Agile) is advantageous.
