Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented E-Commerce Vendor Relations Manager to lead and enhance our partnerships with vendors across our e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will oversee vendor onboarding, relationship management, and performance optimization to drive growth and ensure a seamless customer experience. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication abilities to foster long-term vendor relationships aligned with business goals.

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Vendor Onboarding & Management:

    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and operational guidelines.
    • Maintain an updated database of vendor agreements, terms, and performance metrics.
  • Relationship Building:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely updates.
    • Foster strong relationships with vendors to encourage collaboration and mutual growth.
  • Performance Monitoring:

    • Analyze vendor performance metrics such as delivery times, product quality, and sales data.
    • Develop and implement improvement plans for underperforming vendors.
  • Strategic Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and sales teams to align vendor offerings with business strategies.
    • Identify opportunities for exclusive partnerships, product diversification, and promotional campaigns.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:

    • Ensure vendor adherence to legal, ethical, and quality standards.
    • Monitor risks associated with vendor partnerships and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Market Insights & Reporting:

    • Stay updated on e-commerce trends, competitor strategies, and market demands.
    • Prepare regular reports on vendor performance, sales contributions, and growth opportunities.
  • Required Technical and Professional Expertise
    • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, marketplace operations, and vendor ecosystems.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms for tracking KPIs and generating reports.
    • Familiarity with contract negotiation and vendor compliance protocols.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic problem-solving ability with a focus on results.
    • Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and inventory management processes is a plus.
    Qualification & Experience Required
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor management, e-commerce, or a related domain.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Proven track record of driving vendor performance improvements and meeting business objectives.
  • Certification in project management or supply chain management is an advantage.
