Job Description

Job Title: Senior Manager Employee Experience

Department: Human Resources

Location: Mumbai

Reporting to: Head of Learning Talent & OD - WLL


Job Purpose / Summary:

The Senior Manager Employee Experience will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture, enhancing employee engagement, and driving initiatives that improve the overall employee experience. This role is responsible for managing employee recognition programs, award nominations, employee surveys, and engagement activities across all WLL businesses. Additionally, the role includes spearheading the GPTW (Great Place to Work) certification process, external award submissions, and cultural initiatives that align with organizational values.

Job Description:

1. Culture and Employee Engagement:

  • Drive initiatives to promote and sustain a positive workplace culture aligned with WLLs values.
  • Organize and manage employee engagement activities, including festive celebrations, birthday celebrations, and Rewards & Recognition (R&R) programs.
  • Develop and execute creative ideas to enhance employee morale and satisfaction.

2. Awards and Recognition:

  • Manage the nomination process for group and business awards, ensuring high-quality submissions.
  • Send award nominations on behalf of the company to external corporate awards.
  • Coordinate internal R&R programs, ensuring timely recognition of achievements.

3. GPTW Certification and Ranking:

  • Oversee the entire process for GPTW certification, from application to employee survey management and result analysis.
  • Work to improve rankings through strategic planning and implementation of feedback.

4. Employee Surveys:

  • Manage surveys, ensuring timely deployment, analysis, and action planning based on feedback.
  • Develop and monitor strategies to address survey insights and improve employee satisfaction metrics.

5. External and Internal Communications:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent communication of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Represent WLL in external corporate forums and award platforms.

6. Process Management:

  • Establish streamlined processes for employee engagement and award nominations to ensure efficiency and consistency.
  • Continuously assess and improve engagement strategies and programs

Key Interactions:

  • Internal: HR teams, Business Heads, Line Managers, Employees across all levels.
  • External: GPTW representatives, external award bodies, vendors for engagement activities.

Relevant Work Experience:

  • 8-12 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on employee engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale employee engagement programs and external award nominations.
  • Experience with survey platforms is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with GPTW certification or similar processes is a strong advantage.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to lead initiatives and work collaboratively across teams and levels.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills to drive impactful engagement initiatives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey ideas and engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to develop fresh ideas to enhance employee experience and engagement.
  • Strong focus on quality and precision, especially in award submissions and survey analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with employee engagement tools and platforms.
