Job Description
As an Assistant Manager in the Learning & Development department, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the training and development programs within the organization. This includes designing, implementing, and monitoring training programs, managing vendor relationships, and integrating talent development strategies. You will also be responsible for analyzing the effectiveness of these programs and making necessary adjustments to ensure they are meeting the organization's objectives.
Principal Accountabilities*
Maintain and update the Learning & Development MIS, ensuring 100% accuracy and providing actionable insights through detailed reporting
Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including content updates, troubleshooting, and optimizing its usability to achieve high employee satisfaction
Coordinate and execute training programs, including scheduling, logistics, and communication, ensuring timely delivery and high participation rates
Design and execute comprehensive onboarding and induction programs to provide a seamless experience for new hires
Conduct Training Needs Identification (TNI) every six months to align training initiatives with organizational skill gaps and business priorities
Establish and manage relationships with external training vendors, ensuring high-quality program delivery and alignment with organizational goals
Research and implement innovative practices, including AI, ML, and gamification, to enhance learning experiences and engagement
Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using metrics, feedback, and ROI analysis, making data-driven recommendations for improvement
Stay updated on the latest trends in Learning & Development, including emerging technologies, and recommend strategies to keep the organization ahead of the curve
Conduct personalized follow-ups with employees post-training to ensure learning application and continuous improvement.
