Investment Strategist - International Fund Raise

We are looking at an Investment Strategist who has 8-10 years of experience in raising International Fund - Offshore Institutions and Global Family Offices for a Venture Capital and Private Equity Fund.

The Major Responsibilities Are:

- Develop and implement a fundraising strategy that will ensure growth and sustainability of the organization.

- Tap into existing networks and build new networks to increase the firm's visibility amongst the investors (Indian + International), corporates and trusts.

- Identify & build relations with new investors and maximize fundraising opportunities.

- Implement innovative fundraising strategies.

- Maintain and foster the relationships with international investors, family offices, high net worth, RIAs and institutional stakeholders.

- Undertake research and be aware of trends in fundraising (Indian + International).

- Contribute to sector-level initiatives to enhance fundraising for different sectors.

- Build the team and their capacity.

Specialized Job Competencies:

- Bachelor's degree and excellent academic credentials required; degree in finance, economics, or business preferred - MBA/PGDBM/MS/ CA/ CS.

- 8+ years of relevant work experience at investment firm, private equity/ venture capital, fundraising company (global experience), investment bank, wealth management firm, family office or similar organization.

- Should have strong experience in raising funds for the development sector from Indian and International investors.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience leading prospective investor meetings.

- Ability to wear multiple hats, perform well under pressure, and self-initiate.

- Acute attention to accuracy and detail.

- Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence, and adaptability.

- Extensive experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

Location: Mumbai; local and international travel, as needed.
