Fund Raising & Investor Relations Role (7-12 yrs)

We are seeking a strong Fund raising professional for one of our esteemed VC/ PE client. The relevant candidate is expected to have strong investors network in India and in International markets.

Job Responsibility:

- Investor sourcing: Proactively identify and research potential LPs (domestic and foreign markets), including institutional investors, family offices and ultra/ high-net-worth individuals (HNI/UHNI), RIAs, AIFs to build a robust pipeline.

- Relationship building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective LPs through regular communication, meetings, and presentations to understand their investment objectives and risk tolerance.

- Pitching the fund: Craft compelling investment presentations that highlight the VC/ PE firm's investment strategy, track record, team expertise, and potential returns to attract LPs.

- Fundraising strategy development: Collaborate with the investment team to define the fundraising strategy, including target investor segments, capital allocation, and fundraising timeline.

- Investor reporting: Regularly update LPs on the fund's performance, investment activity, and portfolio company updates through reports and presentations.

- Market research: Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and investor sentiment to identify potential opportunities and risks within the VC/ PE landscape.

Required skills:

- Financial expertise: Strong understanding of financial analysis, valuation methodologies, and investment structuring.

- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present complex financial information to potential investors.

- Networking abilities: Extensive network within the investment community, including relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and other relevant contacts - India/ strong Global network.

- Salesmanship: Ability to persuade potential investors to commit capital to the VC/ PE fund based on its investment thesis and track record.

- Market knowledge: Deep understanding of the VC/ PE industry, relevant market sectors, and current investment trends.

Qualifications:

- Degree and excellent academic credentials required; degree in finance, economics, or business preferred.

- Must have 7+ years of relevant work experience on the Fund raising & Investor relations profile at an investment firm, private equity firm, venture capital, fundraising organization, investment bank, wealth management firm, family office or similar organization.

- Strong track record of building relationships with relevant investors with in India and International markets (Offshore Institutions, Global Family Offices and Investors).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience leading prospective investor meetings.

- Ability to wear multiple hats, perform well under pressure, and self-initiate.

- Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence, and adaptability.
