Vice President- Investments (Private Equity)
Role:
- Investments and Transaction Execution.
- Source and analyze investment opportunities for investment.
- Conducting thorough due diligence of the markets, company, promoters and management of potential investee companies.
- Responsible for the structuring, negotiations and execution.
- Preparation of investment memo, presentations and other materials as required.
- Contribute to LP engagement including regular reporting and fundraising.
- Manage pool of associates and analysts through behavior modelling and mentoring to achieve Fund KPIs and to further develop team members.
- Coordinate with portfolio companies to set, achieve, and report Impact and ESG targets.
Key requirements:
- Between 13-15 years' experience with at least 7 years in growth capital/ PE investing with a preference for investment experience in climate & environment, infrastructure, clean-tech, impact/ SME investing.
- Proven interest in solving complex issues/ situations.
- Ability to create strong relationships with stakeholders preferred existing network of peers and industry.
- Strong investment track record preference for experience through a full fund lifecycle.
- Expertise in deal structuring, due diligence, and closing processes.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop team members to their potential.
- Preference for person with fundraising with institutional investors.
