Deputy General Manager - Finance

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and ensure the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting processes.

- Collaborate with the Corporate Finance Controller and CFO to facilitate the review of financial statements.

- Govern and review the balance sheet, identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for control improvement.

- Develop and maintain a Balance Sheet KPIs dashboard, conducting monthly reviews with the Corporate Finance Controller and CFO.

- Manage financial reporting, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Record to Report, and all associated processes.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations using data analytics tools such as Power BI to optimize performance and drive strategic decisions.

- Handle all internal and statutory audit matters.

- Define and implement effective macro-level checks to ensure the completeness of financial statements and provide thorough documentation of month-on-month variances.

- Prepare accounting memos/write-ups on complex accounting issues in accordance with IFRS/IND AS, and mentor the team in implementing these standards.

- Ensure compliance with statutory financial accounting and reporting standards during limited reviews and annual audits.

- Strengthen financial governance by implementing IFC controls and addressing audit issues.

- Continuously drive automation of finance processes in collaboration with the India ERP and IT teams to implement various automation projects.

- Proficiency in Power BI and other financial software/tools for reporting and data visualization.
