Job Description

Job Role and Key Deliverables:

1.Be responsible for delivering the business/profitability/revenue targets set for the vertical

2.Work closely with Wholesale Banking team - Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Transaction Banking and other control functions & Operations

3.Advisory to clients on hedging policies, currency and interest rate expectations and guidance and factors impacting it and on global events and its impact.

4.Develop and manage the bank's forex products and services. Ensure that the product offerings are competitive, compliant with regulations, and meet the needs of the target market.

5.Independent coverage of client portfolio across all aspects of foreign exchange business

6.Ensure that all forex sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and the bank's policies. Identify and manage risks associated with forex transactions.

7.Advising corporate clients on markets / execution of transactions & scoping e-FX opportunities along with new product solutions

8.Assisting clients with risk management challenges, e.g. balance sheet, cash-flow/earnings risk analysis and strategic, episodic driven hedging discussions

9.Monitor and analyze the performance of the forex sales team and the overall forex portfolio. Implement strategies to improve performance and achieve business objectives.

10.Help foster an environment of collaboration through interfacing with appropriate internal partners to enhance share of mind with clients, increase dialogue and to deliver on expertise

11.Identify business opportunities and drive initiatives with focus on delivery

12.Have strong adherence to regulatory & process controls across the desk.

13.Act ethically and follow Bank's Policies and Standards.

Skills & Competencies:

- Rich experience of advising clients on foreign exchange, currency derivatives including FXO, Rates

- Strong understanding corporate banking client landscape. Connect with senior client treasury & client treasury personnel will be an added advantage.

- Technical product knowledge with an in-depth understanding of macro-economic developments & interdependencies of asset classes (Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Foreign Exchange)

- Creative and innovative thinker with an ability to multitask

- Proactive attitude towards client relationships with an approach to think win-win.

- Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team.

- Clear understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to forex transactions
