GM Accounts & Finance
Job Responsibilities:
- Strategical Management, Risk Management & Decision Making.
- Capable of understanding group's activities, its Structure and legal complexities.
- Actively contributing the Management team in Strategic decisions for growth trajectory.
- Capable of taking Helicopter view and providing solutions to Strategic issues.
- Actively participate in periodic Management Review meetings.
- Should be able to quickly understand challenges of group, carrying out risk analysis, providing solutions to potential risks and being part of resolving critical matter.
Accounts, Treasury & Banking:
- To draw up proper accounting guidelines and policies for the growth of the group. Ensure their effective implementation.
- To oversee periodic closure of Books of accounts, Discussing and providing solutions to Team in case of any Audit query.
- To supervise daily and monthly Cash Flow, identify areas of improvements, holding meetings with Business Unit Head on periodic basis to improve Cash Flow.
- Overseeing Bank Reconciliation and identifying grey areas and providing solutions.
- Front face of the Group before any Auditor, Consultants, Govt. Authorities, Banks, NBFC etc.
- Taxation, FEMA, Corporate Laws and other legal matters.
- Responsible for ensuring all Tax compliances including Direct Tax, Indirect taxes (GST) & RERA are met on regular basis and the notices from Tax Authorities are responded after proper meticulous study of Law and facts.
- Responsible for providing extensive support from accounting records, documents & relevant Rules / Clauses perspective on various agreements & litigation with Tax Consultants/ Authorities on Assessments / Scrutiny/ Appeals etc. and personally attend wherever required.
- Willing to acquire working knowledge of FEMA, Companies Act, 1956 and Companies Act, 2013 to jointly work in tandem with Company Secretary for any critical issues.
- Willing to understand Group's litigations (Civil,Arbitration etc.) and having farsightedness of visualizing its commercial, financial, accounting and taxation implications.
JV Enabler:
- To assist Business Unit Head in Tax structuring the JV deals in consultation with Tax Advisors & Business Advisors.
- To ensure proper accounting of JV projects & flagging off the concerns with the Business unit heads from time to time.
Finance:
- Overseeing and responsible for Fund Raising, Budgeting, cashflow and related MIS.
Team Management:
- To lead the team from the front and demonstrate by setting an example by him/her of a Work-o-holic spirit.
- To disseminate the information appropriately between The Management & the Team members.
- Support to other department.
- To act as a facilitator to other department HODs' from timely action of Payables, Receivables and other activities of F&A department.
- To be abreast on Statutory tax changes & properly informing the contracts department for implementation of the same.
- The candidate should be CA with at least 20 years of post-qualification experience of this at least 8-10 years' experience in a Real Estate Industry having annual turnover of Rs. 100 cr.
- The candidate must have an expertise of Accounts, Treasury, Banking & Controls, Tax compliances ,Finance and should have a sound Commercial acumen.
- To act as a business enabler for the core group between 45 to 50 years of age.
- Staying in Central Suburbs or should have travel time of less than an hour for reaching to Sion.
