General Manager - Finance - Startup - CA (8-18 yrs)

The role is with our client based in Bangalore a well funded Startup

As the GM Finance, you will be responsible for owning and operating the finance function while establishing robust systems and processes to ensure seamless operations across all business units.. You will be part of the senior management team to provide financial insights, analysis, and guidance to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities :

Finance Management:

- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.

- Develop and implement financial strategies to align with organizational goals.

- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Systems and Process Setup:

- Establish and standardize systems and processes for efficient financial operations across subunits.

- Drive automation and optimization of financial workflows to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Risk Management and Compliance:

- Monitor financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

- Maintain compliance with tax laws, auditing standards, and corporate governance policies.

Procurement :

- Manage procurement activities, including vendor negotiations, contracts, and supplier relationships.

- Develop cost-saving strategies and ensure timely procurement aligned with operational needs.

Team Leadership:

- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of excellence.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial strategies with business objectives.

Requirements :

- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of experience in finance leadership roles, with experience in process setup and operational excellence.

- Proven expertise in procurement management.

- Ability to adapt to startup culture and thrive in dynamic environments.
