Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager - Finance to oversee all financial aspects of our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives and goals.
- Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth and profitability through sound financial management.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and financial institutions.
- Lead the annual financial audit process and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes affecting the textile sector.
- Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management and the board of directors.
- Drive initiatives to streamline financial processes, enhance efficiency, and mitigate financial risks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience (X years) in a senior finance role, preferably in the textile or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
