Position: Head of Factory Operations

Grade: General Manager

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

- A minimum of 15+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a preference for mechanical/sheet metal manufacturing.

- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale manufacturing operations.

Job Summary:

As the Head of Factory Operations, you will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, strategic planning, and overall excellence for our factory. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that our manufacturing processes uphold the highest standards of quality, productivity, and safety, while also optimizing costs and resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Excellence: Oversee all facets of plant operations, encompassing production planning, manufacturing processes, quality control, and inventory management.

- Process Optimization: Continuously enhance manufacturing processes to boost efficiency, reduce lead times, and augment output while maintaining quality.

- Cost Management: Spearhead initiatives to optimize costs, including raw material procurement, resource utilization, and energy efficiency.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and implement measures to uphold and improve product quality.

- Vendor Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.

Additional Qualifications:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, underpinned by a data-driven decision-making approach.

- Prior experience in an MNC environment is highly advantageous.

- Proficiency in safety regulations, quality standards, and manufacturing best practices.

- Flexibility to travel as required.
