Plant Head - Pharmaceutical Formulation - Injectables -Rudrapur

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Plant Head for a Pharmaceutical Formulation Manufacturing Plant specializing in injectable products. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring smooth production, regulatory compliance, and leadership across various departments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day plant activities, ensuring smooth production planning and adherence to timelines.
• Lead and oversee the entire plant, including HR, Accounts, Engineering, Stores, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Production, and Maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements at all levels of production.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of plant-level compliance and ensure adherence to the Factory Act.
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement initiatives, such as CAPA, cGMP, and ICH guidelines.
• Oversee production planning, quality control, and shop floor management to meet productivity and efficiency targets.
• Foster effective communication between cross-functional teams (QA/QC/Production/Stores/Engineering) to maintain seamless operations.
• Collaborate to resolve issues related to injectable formulation manufacturing..

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 20-25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with specific expertise in formulation development and manufacturing of injectables.
• A Bachelors degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) or Science (B.Sc.).
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), and Quality Assurance principles.
• Proven experience with international regulatory standards, especially for the EMEA regions and Anvisa regulations.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• A disciplined, dignified professional with a strong focus on targets and deadlines.
• Willing to relocate to Rudrapur with family is preferred.
