About the Job:

Role: Senior Key Account Manager - Sales (Industrial - Semiconductor/Automotive/Metering)
Location: Pune, India
Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Number of Positions: 1
Experience Required: 8-10 years in the industry
Industry Preference:
- Semiconductor, or a closely related field in a core sales role within the Industrial, Automotive, or Metering sectors.
Note:

Job Description:
Role Responsibilities:
- Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed budgeted sales targets for assigned key accounts.
- Account Management: Manage end-to-end account relationships, including backlog management, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Inventory & Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee inventory levels and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Lead Generation & Follow-up: Proactively identify and qualify new leads, and collaborate with FAEs/PMs to follow up on existing leads.
- Rejection/RMA Handling: Manage product returns and resolve customer issues effectively, coordinating with relevant internal teams.
- Principal Interaction: Maintain regular communication and build strong relationships with principals.
- Sales Process & Forecasting: Adhere to established sales processes, develop territory plans, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- New Customer Acquisition: Identify and develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Project-Based Activity: Engage with clients on project-based activities, understanding their needs and offering appropriate solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and their applications to effectively address customer requirements.
- Market Segment Focus: Focus on the designated market segments (Industrial, Automotive, Metering) and understand their specific needs.
- Joint Visits: Conduct joint visits with suppliers/principals as needed to strengthen relationships and close deals.
Travel: Travel within the assigned territory as required.
Must Have Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing large accounts in the domestic market within a core sales role in the required market segments (Semiconductor, Automotive, Metering).
- Technical Understanding: Ability to understand and articulate technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Relationship Building: Excellent networking and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and negotiation skills.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software (Zoho, ERP).
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer-centric approach with a commitment to providing excellent service.
- Proactive & Adaptable: Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
