Head - Sales - Industrial Automation (Panels, IA, HMI)
Job Description:
- The Sales Head for Industrial Automation (IA) will lead the IA division, encompassing Panels Programming, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and associated services.
- The role involves managing the entire order-to-installation lifecycle, heading a multidisciplinary team, and driving the development of product strategy, marketing initiatives, and high-quality customer-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Development:
- Define and implement a comprehensive product strategy for Panels Programming and HMIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market needs and develop product enhancements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electrical engineers, PLC programmers, testers, quality engineers, and technicians.
- Set clear team goals, provide guidance, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback for continuous team improvement.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand automation needs and address pain points.
- Serve as the primary contact for key customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction throughout project lifecycles.
Project Management:
- Oversee the order-to-installation process, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and manage resource allocation efficiently.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for Panels Programming and HMI solutions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful content, presentations, and sales materials.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote products and services.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure products and services meet or exceed quality standards and industry regulations.
- Work closely with quality engineers to implement and maintain robust quality control processes.
Team Management Skills:
- Leadership: Inspire and guide the team towards achieving business goals.
- Time Management: Ensure optimal productivity through effective prioritization and delegation.

Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven track record in industrial automation, panels programming, or HMI systems.
